EBS 6800 – CIJ PRINTER
EBS-6800 is an industrial single-head INK-JET printer designed for labeling of objects moving on a factory conveyor without requiring direct contact. Prints are produced with colored dye-based inks, i.e. homogenous non-pigment inks. The feature that differentiates this printer from others is the fact that it does not need to be supplied from a compressed air system.
Printers on offer differ in maximum print height (MPH, the maximum height of a vertical row) which can be 16, 25 or 32 dots.

The printer can produce durable and legible prints on a variety of surfaces, including smooth, porous and also uneven materials of irregular shapes, such as cables, tubes, insulation sleeves, furs or extruded packing,
Non-contact print technology is applied to avoid problems when printing on curved surfaces (there is a significant distance of up to 30 mm between the print-head and object),
The process of printing is fully automated by the application of a photo-detector for detecting objects to be labeled and of an optional sensor for detecting travel rate of factory conveyors if the conveyors run at varying speeds,
The printer offers excellent capabilities to print (at a given value of MPH):
texts on up to 5 lines, with the use of a variety of matrices, in capital and small, boldfaced and rotated letters, including the use of diacritical national characters,
graphics with a set of graphics character either built-in or created by a user with the application of a built-in graphics processor,
bar codes of various types, in positive or negative, with or without a numerical label,
The time and date are available and can be used to automatically update service life/period of storage, with an option for coding date and time elements, number objects (via incremental, decremental and special counters) and produce dynamically changing bar codes (via incremental or decremental counters),
Data can be transferred from a PC or external devices, such as automatic scales, data from a bar code reader or data from a database,
The printer’s operation is fully automated and supported by a monitoring system and gives a warning if operator intervention is required,
The printer is equipped with iModule® – an intelligent, integrated ink system, replaceable in three simple moves, without the need for calling a serviceman, without any use of tools and without making hands dirty, within a shorter time than one minute,
The new bottle system ensures quick and extremely simple replenishment of ink and solvent without interrupting printing, without touching caps and dirtying hands: just remove the old bottle, insert a new one and it is ready,
